Dear Reader Letter
Dear Reader,
What inspired me to write these pieces was that I was very passionate about the subjects that they are about. I came to developing these by sitting at wherever I was writing at the time and let my imagination, creativity and feelings flow onto paper then organizing them at a later time. I especially like that my ideas and emotions can be expressed without criticism because it’s my writing and it can be however I want it to be. What gave the most difficulty was formulating ideas with a set tone, ideas, subject and format. Also what gave me the most difficulty was trying to get writing pieces in on a deadline because I can't always write when someone wants me too.
This year I learned that I was very good at descriptive writing and poetry because we did a lot with poetry and my poems came out really good most of the time and poem have a lot of descriptive writing in them. The goals that I achieved this year are that my writing skills have improved and I have become a better-rounded writer. I consistently use different more educated sounding words in my writing and what helped was Flocabulary. My weakness is that my ideas do not flow together and it is very scattered. Also one of my weaknesses is that I frequently get writer’s block in the middle of an assignment which is why I have issues with deadlines.
Some great writers that I read make their writing suspenseful and interesting. They always kept me want more. They also would use very vivid details that would make me seem like I was actually in the book at that scene. I have always like the twists to my favorite authors put in their pieces of writings. If I wanted to I could be like them by using more details, and making my writings more suspenseful. I also could use more imagery details to make my pieces more interesting and appealing to reader.
These writing assignments are almost always my feeling and they represent how I am either feeling at that moment or how I have felt at a time in my life. They have many personal moments and connections to me. They show who I really am and they can tell you how I was feeling when I was writing them. My writings show you how well I am at English and writing if you look carefully. I also use a lot of opposites in my writing to describe things and the way they look to me compared to other people.
