"Description of a place"
I am a black cat with no bell or collar on so I am not easily detected. I was the only pet at one time, but then they got a dog, then another one, the finally that cat. That cat has taken the love of everybody in the family, except for my sister. I walk into the huge, plain, messy room of my sister, Brittani, the only place where I’m safe.
The first thing I hear is the sound her crying. She is on her tall gigantic bed, which I jump up on. She is reading but looks up, face wet and tears coming from her eyes, from her book and calls me over with her sweet, loving voice, thick with sadness and tears, and the gesture I love knowing she’ll protect and love me. I sit on the edge of her bed not sure what to do, and she goes back to reading. Looking around her room I see her computer on top of her desk, her bookshelf on top of her dresser, her radio that is quietly playing music, Brittani hates when it’s too quiet or too loud in an area. I get up and start to walk on her bed towards her. It has this soft, cool, silky, giant but fluffy blanket on it. I am startled by my other sister coming into the room, Brittani gets annoyed, she tells my other sister to get out and shut her door. I lay down next to her and start rubbing/ nudging her with my head trying to get her to pet me.
Instead of petting me she gets up to go to her bookcase with her huge collection of books on it. She puts the book she was reading back. Then she walks, oh so gracefully, to her computer, not tripping on the mess of things on her floor, sits down and starts to type on her computer. I get up, stretch, meow and paw at her, she offers me her lap, and calls “Zoe, come here baby,” to me, encouraging me to come to her as the tears start flowing from her eyes. I go to her, and try to comfort her. She stops crying for now, tells me everything is fine and that she is okay when I meow at her. I go to her door and try to get out but it is closed, I meow again. She realizes that I want out and comes to open the door wiping the tears from her face. It’s a big white door with a long silver handle, and when she opens it there is the other cat. She shoos him away for me and then I go, as I look back I see her door shutting and I know she will always love and protect me from the other cat.
